It's not too late to get the flu vaccine to protect yourself and your community. Flu season typically peaks between December and February and can last until May.

If you meet at least one of the criteria, there are several ways you can still get your flu shot on-campus:

  • Call Health Services x. 3565 to book with a nurse
  • Come by Health Services to get your shot (the earlier in the day, the better).
  • In response to high demand for the flu shot, Health Services has added a late-season flu shot clinic on Jan. 23rd in the EV-Atrium! Call x. 3565 to reserve your dose.

Some local community health services are also offering late-season flu shot clinics through the end of January. And if you don't meet the criteria for the free shot, you can pay to receive the flu shot at many locations in the community.

The health professionals at Concordia University Health Services recommend that everyone get the flu shot, every year. Getting the flu shot will reduce your chance of getting the flu or spreading it to others. If you do catch the flu, being vaccinated can make the illness less severe.
