Concordia’s Fabulous New Homepage

Placeholder image

Concordia's homepage now features a “hero” image (a full-browser-width banner) that highlights people, discoveries and activities that capture the essence of the university’s nine strategic directions.

What does this mean for YOU?

Do you think someone from your department should be featured as a Next-Gen Concordian? Get in touch with your Communications Advisor and let them know!

Expect to see more of the hero images around the website in the coming months! Training will be available when the time comes for faculty and departmental websites to start sporting hero images of their own.

Read our News Team’s recent story to learn more.

USEFUL TIPS

Empower Your Faculty Members

The start of a new term is a great time to make a push for up-to-date faculty profiles!

Consider sending your faculty members a reminder that they can simply:

  • Login to My.Concordia.ca
  • Choose "Alerts & profiles" from the left-hand column
  • Click on "Faculty Profile"

Training videos, guidelines and an FAQ are also available to help faculty members make their profiles shine!

Introducing: Jesse Drukker

We have a new Webmaster / Digital Content Advisor.

Don’t be surprised if you hear from Jesse when interacting with the UCS Web Team over the next few months!

Training

Remember that AEM training program has been updated! Trainees can now choose from self-directed, semi self-directed or in-person basic training, according to their needs and schedule.

The procedure to request training has changed: First check out the schedule for available courses, then click on "Sign me up!" to register. When you do, you'll see that there are Open Sessions: these are training events where the topic is decided by the first person to register.

Still have questions? Shoot an email to webtraining@concordia.ca and we can help.
