Dear ##First##,

I am delighted to inform you that your outstanding academic performance during the 2024-2025 academic year has earned you a place on the Dean’s List.

To be on the Dean’s list, students must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Achieve a minimum annual GPA of 3.75 after completing a minimum of 24 credits attached to the letter grades without having academic misconduct records.
  • Achieve a minimum annual GPA of 3.75 after completing a minimum of 12 credits attached to the letter grades and two co-op work terms during the academic year without having academic misconduct records.
  • For ACSD registered students, achieve a minimum annual GPA of 3.75 after completing a minimum of 12 credits (6 credits per semester) attached to the letter grades without having academic misconduct records.

As part of our recognition of student academic excellence, we plan to publish the Dean’s List on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 on the John Molson School of Business website at concordia.ca/jmsb/news/accolades.html under "Dean's List - Undergraduate." I invite you to also mention this honour on your CV.

If you do not want your name to appear in any publication of the Dean’s List, please email jmsb.communications@concordia.ca before Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

With such outstanding performance, you may be eligible to become a member of Concordia University’s Garnet Key Society. Every academic year, the Garnet Key Society meticulously selects twelve students, across all faculties, to represent the university as official honourary ambassadors with an email invitation sent during the first half of winter term. Your excellent academic performance demonstrates that you have the potential to represent our faculty Concordia wide.

Once again, let me offer my congratulations and wish you all the best for continued success. Your exemplary commitment to your education is one to be admired and celebrated.

Congratulations!

Anne-Marie Croteau, PhD, CDir
