Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre

Welcome back-to-school, let's get involved!

Welcome back to campus!  It's great to see incoming and returning students back, and we're looking forward to a great term.  Check out our upcoming events below, or stop by our drop in space--now with extended hours!  Hall 608.02 is your space to relax, catch up with friends, study or connect with MfSC—all over a free cup of tea or coffee.  We’ll be there 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, with a short closure over the lunch hour.  Can’t wait to see you there!

Another way to get involved at Concordia is to join the Concordia Shuffle on Friday, Sept 25 and enjoy a walk between Concordia’s campuses to raise funds for great projects that support students.  We're part of a team of colleagues in the Equity Office; you can join us or register on your own for a fun walk and a great cause.

At Concordia

Wednesday, Sept 30, 2026 is Orange Shirt Day: acknowledge the painful legacy of residential schools and affirm our shared responsibility to support Indigenous voices, cultures, and communities. Learn more and find out how to participate.

The Equity Office

It takes All of Us: Creating a Campus Free of Sexual Violence

  • This workshop is open to all newly admitted students and fulfills the mandatory training requirements for sexual violence awareness and prevention. The deadline to complete training is October 19th, 2026. Multiple sessions are available to pick from here!

Chai, Coffee & Change: Percolating New Perspectives, this event is on Thursday, Sept 24, 2 - 4 p.m.

  • An informal, open forum for students, staff and faculty to discuss equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility in post-secondary education--you are welcome whether you're passionate about EDI or simply curious. Meet the Equity Office team over coffee, snacks and dialogue.

Access+: Reimagining Accessibility, Monday, Sept 28, 2 - 4 p.m.

  • This interactive training session invites university students to explore how accessibility shapes our shared environments, relationships, and learning experiences. Drawing on real examples, we’ll unpack how ableism shows up in subtle and systemic ways; from classroom policies to social spaces, and how it impacts students across disciplines and identities. Through discussion, reflection, and collaborative activities, you’ll gain tools to recognize barriers, rethink assumptions, and contribute to more inclusive spaces.
