The hype about links

Internal links should be relative
E.g., /content/concordia/en/../page.html

For internal links within the same domain — for example, from one concordia.ca page to another page under concordia.ca, or one Cspace page to another Cspace page — always use relative links. This ensures that the links will continue to work, even when a webmaster moves the page.

Links between concordia.ca and Cspace should be absolute
E.g., https://cspace.concordia.ca/../page.html

Links between concordia.ca and Cspace must be absolute because they are on different servers, and Cspace uses a secure subdomain (https://). So when you have links going from public (concordia.ca) to private (Cspace) or vice versa, make sure to use absolute links and to check your work on the live pages after you publish.
