FNAME, this community wouldn’t be what it is without you.

SPEAKERS
We’re so grateful to you for bringing your voice, experience and generosity to our Concordia Women Who LEAD events this year. Our alumnae didn’t just listen, they connected, reflected and walked away a little braver because of what you shared.

DONORS
We’re so grateful for your generosity in supporting Concordia’s Women Who LEAD (WWL) initiatives — through the WWL Bursary and the Donate to Her campaign. Because of you, our alumnae aren’t just dreaming bigger, they’re accessing opportunities, building confidence and moving forward a little braver, knowing a community believes in them.

In person, in touch

This year our alumnae met in-person for two exciting events: a panel discussion on menopause and women’s health as well as a winter wine tasting at Monopole in Griffintown.

Look out for more in-person events next year!

Panelists
Breaking the Silence: Menopause and Women’s Health in the Workplace, brought women of all ages together to learn more about the research on menopause. Speakers (L to R): Caroline Van Vlaardingen, BA 84, Claudine Gauthier, PhD, Rina Carlini, PhD, BSc 93, Karen Li, PhD, and Dean Pascale Sicotte, PhD.
Wine tasting
Participants enjoying learning about different wines at our February wine tasting event at Monopole with guest speaker Master of Wine Jacky Blisson, BA 02.

Honour a woman in your life

Thank you to all of you who donated to our new Donate in Her Honour Campaign launched on International Women’s Day!

By donating to this campaign, you recognize a woman in your life who inspires you whether that be a family member, friend or colleague. Each honouree receives a personalized e-card notifying them of the donation. Contributions are directed to the WWL Bursary or to another area of the university that matters to you.

Don’t worry if you missed the launch! You can still honour a woman in your life by donating here.

Words from some of our Women Who LEAD

“I’ve been attending the Women Who LEAD events organised by Concordia for years, both online and in person. The topics are all fascinating—women’s health, leadership, wine tasting, just to name a few. It’s incredibly rewarding to be surrounded by women of action, to meet new people and benefit from the wisdom of inspiring leaders!”

— Marie-Isabelle Noël, BA 94, Marketing Translation Manager, Gowling WLG Canada

“Important topics for all women, good length and time of day, excellent presenters and facilitation. Many thanks!”

— Kathryn McMorrow, BA 67, Speaker
