Marina Pushkareva, PhD
Research Funding Development Advisor
Marina Pushkareva develops industry R&D partnerships with professors and industrial partners in Building, Civil and Environmental engineering.
Before joining Concordia University, she was doing research and teaching at several academic institutions in Montreal and worked in industry. She holds a PhD in Advanced Materials and Manufacturing from the University of Ottawa.

Marina Zhang
Research Funding Development Advisor
Yingying Zhang brings industry collaboration opportunities for faculty members in Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering as well as Electrical and Computer Engineering.
She received her MBA from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia, and has extensive experience in education, business development and marketing with proven expertise in lead generation, relationship building and project management.

Laura M. Hernandez Rodriguez, PhD
Research Funding Development Advisor
Laura Hernandez Rodriguez is highly experienced managing multidisciplinary research projects and teaching in academic environments. At the Gina Cody School, she establishes R&D collaborations with industrial partners for the departments of Building, Civil, and Environmental Engineering, as well as Chemical and Materials Engineering.
She has valuable expertise developing solid relationships including academia, industry, and government organizations.
Prior to joining Concordia, she conducted research on micro and nanoplastic contamination in the environment, as well as water treatment at McGill University, where she earned her PhD in Chemical Engineering.

Guillermo Mendoza-Suarez, PhD
Senior Research and Innovation Advisor
Guillermo Mendoza-Suarez is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience working in academia and industry in several roles. He has been instrumental to the Gina Cody School, growing the industry partnerships portfolio since 2014, and has played a key role in developing strategic industrial partnerships.
He helps develop strong relationships with industry partners and government officials, promoting academia-industry research at Concordia University. He also participates in the Gina Cody School’s innovation initiatives and large-scale strategic projects. He holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Sheffield in the UK.

Pascal Dubois
Advisor, Innovation and Research Funding Development
Pascal Dubois is a demonstrated professional with a strong track record of establishing industry-academic partnerships in diverse fields. With prior roles as a Team Lead and Grant Specialist at Mitacs and different roles at the Fonds de recherche du Québec, Pascal's expertise in bridging academia and industry and helping facilitate research projects has been instrumental for various universities.
Before joining Concordia, Pascal honed his skills in project management and relationship building, holding a PMP license. His educational background in Political Science provides a unique perspective, allowing him to connect diverse fields and facilitate interdisciplinary collaborations.
