August 8–19, 2022

Offered to students entering grade 11

This camp offers students an exciting opportunity to get hands-on experience in what could be one of the most sought-after skills of the coming decade: extracting key information from numerical data and presenting the scientific results in creative and clear visualizations.

Students will learn to use state-of-the art software and create drawings or short videos to display the results of simulations.

These results include three-dimensional velocity and pressure fields of the flow that can be typically found in fields like aerospace engineering, wind turbine design, building aerodynamics and cardiovascular systems.

Participants will hone their communication skills as they work with peers to present relevant engineering and technical information in an appealing and accessible visual format.
