My name is Guilherme, but feel free to call me by Gui. I am in my 4th year as an undergraduate student studying Psychology (Behavioural Neuroscience) with a minor in Multidisciplinary Studies in Science (Science College). Some fun facts about me are that I love dancing, summer is FOR SURE my favourite season, and I have a natural white streak in my hair since I was 5, almost like a vampire.
A tip I have for new students is… to enjoy every second of your university experience, even the sleepless nights before deadlines. One day, it will all become old memories and stories to tell, so make sure they are great ones! Do not hesitate to reach out to your peers, the stranger in the other table may be your next best friend!
The one thing I wished I would have known back in my first semester is … the secret spots hidden at the University. At Loyola, the top floor of the AD building is gold to study and relax! Likewise, the downtown campus is a maze full of nice spots to help you focus during exam period (or any other time). I will leave you with the curiosity to go and explore Concordia yourself, and if you need any help, don't hesitate to reach out.
My favourite part of being a Concordia student is… simply being able to be myself and connect with people from so many different backgrounds. Here's a virtual hug from your Brazilian mentor to welcome you to our school!
