I did my undergraduate degree in both Political Science and School of Community and Public Affairs and now I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Educational Technology. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, winning chess games, and giving back to the community.
The one thing I wished I would have known back in my first semester is… that some courses are seasonal – only offered in the fall term, for example, and not winter. I would have planned out my pre-requisite courses accordingly!
A tip I have for new students is… never underestimate the importance of connecting with professors from the start – they are vastly resourceful and can help you navigate your course, as well as act as references should you wish to pursue further studies.
My favourite part of being a Concordia student is… diversity! As Concordia students, our differences are our strengths. I belong in a community that is full of support and encouragement without which I would not have been able to thrive and overcome challenges in my academic pursuit.
