Job Search Preparation for International Students

Workshop Series: Job Search Preparation for International Students

The Job Search Preparation for International Students series is designed to help international students figure out their career path and find work in Canada upon graduation. It is a series of five workshops that include information on the legal considerations of work in Canada as an international student, procedures for crafting resumes and cover letters, tools and strategies for occupational research, networking and interviewing, and success stories from Alumni.  Upon completion, students will be able to identify job search strategies to find work in Canada and they will be able to effectively convey their skills and achievements to employers.

Students are expected to attend all five sessions.  Students only need to register for the first session and they will not be able to join after the first session. Upon finishing students will receive a certificate of completion.  For more information contact: meghan.atherton@concordia.ca
