Hi everyone! My name is Najiba. I am an international graduate student in the Industrial Engineering department. I was born and bought up in Bangladesh. Relocating to Montreal marks a significant milestone in my life, as it represents my initial venture beyond the borders of Bangladesh, exploring a different country altogether. I love exploring and loving the colors of Montreal. I also love reading books and love detective novels (huge fan of Feluda by Satyajit Ray).

The one thing I wished I would have known back in my first semester is…how important is to eat healthy and maintain a balanced life.

A tip I have for new students is… it's totally normal to feel a little down when you start your semester in a brand-new place. But guess what? You don't have to face it alone! Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it because Concordia has got your back with an incredible range of resources. Take some time to explore them all! Oh, and make sure you don't miss out on discovering the vibrant culture and beauty of this amazing city. Enjoy every moment.

My favorite part of being a Concordia student is… the community and smile on everyone's face!
