New students – Submitting documents


All new students admitted for the Summer 2022 term must provide the university the following documents in order to remain enrolled in the Summer 2022 term:

  • A valid CAQ
  • A valid Study Permit

Here are the deadlines:

  • Summer 1 term (May 2 – June 22) OR Full Summer term (May 2 – August 15) - will need to submit a valid CAQ and Study permit by MAY 9, 2022 (DNE deadline). 
  • Summer 2 term (June 23 – August 15) - will need to submit a valid CAQ and Study permit by JUNE 30, 2022 (DNE deadline). 
  • New students with CIP (PhD/Masters Thesis based students) for Summer 2022:
  • If the student in a research-based program will not be taking courses but will have a Continuing in program (CIP) in their first term. In this case students must arrive in Canada before June 30, 2022, and upload their CAQ and Study Permit also by June 30, 2022.

 

Submit your documents online by uploading them on your Student Centre (please ensure documents are clear and legible). The link to upload documents can also be found on the Student Hub's My CU Account page.


Please ensure that you upload the correct document as shown in the images below.

CAQ

If you have received your CAQ certificate, please upload it to your Student Service Centre. If you have not yet received your CAQ certificate, then upload the CAQ approval letter instead. Please upload it under the option CAQ in your Student Service Centre.

Study Permit

Your study permit is your legal status in Canada. Please upload it under the option Study Permit on your Student Service Centre.
