GPLD141 - Navigating Emotional Intelligence

In this workshop, participants will learn about the basics of emotional intelligence and the fundamental emotional skills. In particular, they will learn about such emotional skills as emotion expression, communication, and emotional support. Participants will also learn about self-awareness and the ways to improve their self-awareness.


Learning Objectives


At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Explain the impact of EQ on their career success and leadership effectiveness;
2. Evaluate their emotional skills;
3. Identify the techniques to improve their emotional skills.



Leaders Information


This workshop is led by Benoît Eclache.

Benoît Eclache is completing a Master of Arts (MA) in Human Systems Intervention at Concordia University. He is a leadership coach, a facilitator and an IT consultant who believes that meaningful connections generate greater empathy and more effective collaboration. He is passionate about helping individuals and groups work smarter not harder. A forerunner in the Reinventing Work movement, Benoît is an active advocate for more human-centred, purposeful workplaces. Benoît has a business administration degree from HEC Montréal.
