GPDI505 - Intermediate Microsoft Excel

In this intermediate Microsoft Excel workshop, students will get an overview of Excel functions, graphs/charts, and data review options. Using text and date functions students will be shown different ways of working with functions including nesting, tracing formulas, special ways of pasting obtained data, and using multiple Excel features to get assistance. Students will get a chance to graph data and work with sparklines. Track changes and comments will be explored as well.

Learning Objectives

In this workshop, participants will learn to:
1- Identify MS Excel components
2- Utilize MS Excel features to manipulate data
3- Analyze and manage information in MS Excel

Leaders Information

This workshop is led by Rehab Mahmoud. Rehab Mahmoud is a part-time faculty, human and organizational development facilitator, and trainer. She received her M.A. in Human Systems Interventions (HSI) from Concordia University. Rehab had been immersed in the domain of adult learning and professional development for more than a decade. Her work is informed by her hands-on experience and strong business acumen. The learning experiences she designs and facilitates are fun, engaging and grounded in experiential learning theories and universal design for learning.
