GPCB594 - Intro to Start-Up Customer Discovery

If you’re looking to build a company or develop your own side projects, understanding how to talk and empathize with customers is an essential ability. This session will provide you with the opportunity to practice this entrepreneurial skill and help you understand how it applies to many aspects of both start-up and professional life. By learning how to ask questions and truly listen for answers, we will learn how to extract powerful insights that can propel our ideas forward and bring them to life.

• identify customer segments that you can target
• plan and run effective customer discovery interviews
• extract useful insights from interviews

Leaders Information

Alexandra Allen, Specialist, Startup Talent Initiatives
Alexandra works at District 3 connecting student talent with our startups. As part of the programs team, she helps design and deliver innovative and entrepreneurial programs and workshops.
She studied Learning Design and Tech at Harvard Extension School, and has worked internationally in Canada, the UK, Australia, and France.
