The following projects would not be possible without the people who volunteer to take part in the research. Participants gain a useful understanding of how research takes place, and learn something interesting about the field, or themselves. Participation is open to the public.

Research participants wanted

Concordia researchers are conducting a study on cognitive, motor, sensory, and brain functioning in healthy adults in Montreal.

To get involved, you must be:

  • Aged 45–60 OR 65–80
  • A fluent English speaker and reader
  • Have either normal hearing OR age-related hearing loss requiring a hearing aid (minimum of 6-months experience)
  • Free of neurological, cardiovascular, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal conditions that affect mobility, concentration, or everyday functioning
  • Able to come to Concordia University’s Loyola Campus in NDG for a total of four assessment sessions

If eligible, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a 3-month computerized in-home training program.
