What is on the agenda at PERFORM

Free activities open to all

For Canadian National Health and Fitness day, on June 2, 2018, the PERFORM Centre will be hosting a few free activities for the general public. (Must be 18 years or older).

  • FREE fitness clasess outdoors, (though indoor options are available in case of rain)    

                Bootcamp with Henry at 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM

                Zumba with Tanja at 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

  • FREE access to the gym
  • Recipe designed by our deititian

Fitness Classes


Bootcamp at 11:15 AM

The Bootcamp will be run by our certified trainer Henry Tung, who is an exercise science student at the Concordia University. He is a practicing judoka and competes at the provincial and national levels in Judo. He also has previous experience in Rugby and Boxing, and regularly runs our bootcamp fitness classes.


Zumba at 4:00 PM

The Zumba class will be run by our certified trainer Tanja Trost, who is passionate about exercise as a holistic lifestyle change. She wants her clients to achieve their healthiest lifestyle and will help them pursue their health goals with vigor. She is a certified Zumba instructor.

* Classes will be held outdoors, however, if there is a call for rain, the classes will be moved indoors to our group exercise room.   

Free Gym Access

Don't feel like doing a fitness class? Come in and try out our gym facilities for free - all day from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Our gym is open to the public all year around. The unique environment we provide, as a research centre in preventative health, is found in our highly calibrated machinery, expert trainers, and floor monitors who are fitness-knowledgeable students from Concordia's Exercise Science department.

To join or try out the gym you must be 18 years or older. There is standard paper work to be completed before you will be granted access to the gym floor.

Lockers and showers are available. Please bring indoor shoes and a towel, as per gym regulations.
