Research Opportunities

Dr. Jong Won Ma is currently inviting applications for multiple MS & PhD fully funded positions to study the topics centered around digital twinning of the industrial plants and automation in construction.

Qualifications
1) Research background in Construction Engineering and Project Management
2) Programming experience with Python (Colab, Jupyter, Anaconda) & ML/DL libraries (Pytorch, Tensorflow) – ability to replicate state-of-the-art algorithms
3) Fluent written and oral communication skills in English
4) Knowledge of industrial plants (mainly about Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems - pipe, valve, flange, T-section, etc.)
5) Previous research outcomes (e.g., conference papers/journal articles)
