NouLa

BLACK STUDENT CENTRE

Our name comes from the Haitian Creole phrase, nou la which means “we are here.”

We offer programming, services, and resources for Black Concordia students to support our collective success and wellbeing.

Community building

NouLa lounge

The NouLa Student Lounge is located on the seventh floor of the Henry F. Hall Building in room H-773. We are open Monday to Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Come by to study, grab tea or coffee, meet new friends or just to hang out!

Student orientation

Our orientation events are a great opportunity to get involved in Black student life on campus, meet fellow Black students, and learn more about services and resources at Concordia!

NouLa Homeroom Pod

Homeroom pods are weekly gatherings led by an upper-year student where you’ll discuss topics that will help ease the transition to Concordia all while meeting new people and developing skills to propel you through your university experience. Space is limited, so join now!
