Marco Scanlan 

Marco has worked in the aerospace industry for 6 years, as an engineer, an analyst, and an operations manager. His work managing a wide array of projects for multiple international suppliers has given him experience in project management, data analysis and operational strategy. He holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and a masters in space sciences and management. He is currently an MBA candidate at John Molson School of Business with a focus on Strategy and Operations.


Ashish Kumar

Ashish possesses a background in marketing, business development, and sales for luxury and multi-billion-dollar companies. With over 8 years of international business experience and the ability to think outside the box, he is well-versed with all business aspects to drive sales such as market analyses, client acquisition, business risk, and financial optimization. He is currently pursuing an MBA focused on strategy and consulting, and has previously worked with several non-profits across Europe and Asia.


Karl Khalil

Karl is a chemical engineer working for the Naval Engineering Test Establishment, part of the Royal Canadian Navy. He has over 5 years of experience in environmental consulting, project management and database management. His analytical nature and high attention to detail combined with leadership and management experience provide him with a strong skillset to succeed as a business consultant. Karl holds a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from McGill University and is currently pursuing his MBA studies at John Molson School of Business.


Ali Daoui

Ali has worked for over 4 years for healthcare providers and medical device and manufacturers. He possesses strong analytical skills rooted in substantial scientific background. Ali utilizes this scientific background to provide innovative solutions to business problems in strategy, marketing, and operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and a master’s in medical physics. He is currently an MBA candidate at John Molson School of business and a consultant at the Concordia Small Business Consulting Bureau.


Bethea Clarke

Bethea has worked in the tourism industry for 15 years and has travelled to over 60 countries. She has in-person work experience in most of the Canadian provinces, which, combined with her international travel experience, has honed her understanding of cross-cultural realities. Her BA in Political Science and experience as President of undergraduate UN and NATO clubs gave her a strong understanding of public policy and organizational structure. Her background in operations and team management sharpened her ability to think strategically, optimize resources, and stimulate productivity. Bethea is excited to work as a consultant with the Concordia Small Business Consulting Bureau while she earns her MBA at the John Molson School of Business.


Patrick Boire-Schwab

Patrick has worked as an industrial designer for 6 years and has consulted in this field for inventors, start-ups and global corporations alike. His work has made him an expert in design and development of consumer goods, especially sporting goods. His work also involved user research, marketing research, trend forecasting, manufacturing overseas and project management. He holds a bachelor’s in industrial design and is currently pursuing an MBA at John Molson School of Business with a focus on strategy and consulting to unify vision and execution in products.
