Our Career Management Services (CMS) team is dedicated to supporting students develop a variety of skills and explore career opportunities that will lead them to achieve their professional objectives.

Learn to market yourself 

1. Career advising

Schedule an appointment to meet with your Graduate Career Advisor to explore your career options and navigate the job and internship search process. Our Advisors can help you with a wide range of career-related topics including: job and internship search, resume and cover letter reviews, networking, interview preparation, LinkedIn profiles, negotiating the job offer, employer recruitment timelines, and much more.

2. Mock interview program

Participate in a mock screening interview (in-person) and gain valuable experience and feedback from one of our trained volunteers. Our 90-minute one-on-one session gives you the opportunity to simulate the typical in-person interview with the opportunity to practice frequently asked questions and receive tailored advice on how to improve your performance.

3. C-RISE program for international students

This exciting program developed by CMS and designed for international students looking to enter the Canadian job market can help you create a road map for career success. Join one of our many:

  • International student career seminars
  • Networking events with international alumni
  • Events with employers and business professionals
