Equipment loan and rental - John Molson School of Business
Certain equipment is available for loan to students and professors in the John Molson School of Business (JMSB) in order to facilitate academic activities. JMSB professors may borrow video cameras to record student presentations. JMSB students may borrow laptops and projectors for class presentations on a first-come, first-served basis.
Who can use it?
JMSB professors as well as undergraduate and graduate students registered in a class offered by the John Molson School of Business.
How much does it cost?
There is no cost associated with this service.
How to get it
- JMSB students should present themselves to the MB Service Centre with a valid student ID.
- JMSB professors may reserve video cameras by contacting the Service Desk at 514-848-2424 ext. 7613, through the webform, or in person at the MB Service Centre.
- JMSB equipment loans are available for a period of up to 4 hours, during the opening hours of the MB Service Centre.
Laptops and projectors are only available on a first-come, first-served basis and no reservation is possible.
It is recommended that professors reserve video cameras in advance. JMSB professors may do this by contacting the Service Desk at 514-848-2424 ext. 7613, through the webform, or in person at the MB Service Centre.
Yes. If there is sufficient equipment to accommodate other requests, renewals are possible. The request must be made in person at the MB Service Centre prior to the scheduled return time of the equipment. It is important to note that while renewals may be possible, they are not guaranteed and you must be prepared to return the equipment at the scheduled time.
