Planning an in-person activity on campus?

Permissible events on campus are currently being reviewed based on Quebec’s reopening plan. Due to changing health directives, please submit your request for consideration at least 10 business days before your desired event. Your submission will be assessed to ensure compliance with safety and government directives.

Respecting on-campus health and safety protocols

The activity organizer and participants must complete the mandatory Environmental Health and Safety training course and quiz (via Moodle), if they have not already done so.

Once completed, the activity organizer and the participants are also required to complete the One-Time Campus Access form (available on the MyConcordia portal) to request an appointment to visit the campus.

The activity organizer and participants must adhere to directives that were shared prior to the event. 

Social distancing and masks

  • Procedural masks (blue and white, single-usage) must be worn at all times while indoors, including in classrooms, hallways, elevators and washrooms.
    • If an individual does not have a procedural mask, they may obtain one from a security agent at a Concordia security desk.
    • Eating is not permitted in the rooms.
  • Activity participants should arrive onsite with their Concordia IDs and all personal items they require, facemasks, hand sanitizer, pens and paper.
  • Upon entering an SDA space, individuals are required to take a seat the farthest from the entrance in order to minimize interactions with others who subsequently enter the room.
  • To help minimize health risks, the physical setup of on-campus spaces cannot be altered.

Booking spaces for social distancing activities

Please note: the general public are not permitted to participate in in-person activities.

Who may book a space?

Please note: Security and Hospitality Concordia staff will have access to the booking information submitted to MyEvents to help ensure safe on-campus gatherings and to validate bookings.

When should I book my space?

  • Bookings must be made a minimum of three business days in advance of the scheduled activity. There are two daily time slots from Monday to Friday
    • 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    • 1 to 4 p.m.

  2. Once completed, please return by email to Hospitality Concordia at

Reservations for staff, faculty and registered student groups

  1. Log on to your MyConcordia Portal.
  2. Click on "Auxiliary Services" on the sidebar menu.
  3. Click on "MyEvents" from the drop down menu.
  4. Select "Start MyEvents".
  5. Go to the tab "Reservation Forms" tab.
  6. Select "Social Distancing Activities".
  7. Complete the form and submit your reservation.

Please note: Upon receiving confirmation of your reservation by email, please follow the instructions provided in order to safely access the space.

To gain access to the campus, the activity organizer and the participants must complete the Mandatory COVID-19 Safety Training (via Moodle), if not already done. It must be completed before completing the one-time campus access form.
