I have a background in Fine Arts and Industry Filmmaking. I have considered myself a performance artist for a few years now. I have combined the two to make video self-portraits with social and gender commentaries.
Arizona O’Neill is a Montreal based visual and performance artist. She completed her BFA at Concordia's Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. She is known for her self-portrait videos in which she reexamines iconic figures through a modern feminist (and humorous) lens. She has a very recognizable quirky style that is easy to fall in love with. She has also made videos for artists like Daphne B and Patrick Watson.
