Exchange Information and Candid Conversations
Our Student Academic Services advisor Perla Muyal and recruiter Heather Gagnon have been holding a weekly webinar to discuss all questions related to COVID-19's impact on student life since the pandemic began in March.
During the fall semester, candid convos will be held on Thursdays, alternating weekly at 3:15 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. (EST). All sessions will provide you with general information and Christine Archer from Concordia International will be joining us to talk about student exchange programs.

Preparing for your 2020-21 Registration
Academic advisors remain dedicated to providing assistance to returning students with registration.
Be sure to prepare the following documents if you participate in a Registration Clinic:
- Your unofficial student record (available on your student portal)
- Your program guide. (Always choose the guide for your year of entry to your program)
Advising by department
Art History
Advising is NOT REQUIRED prior to registration. Students who would like to meet with an advisor may contact the Department of Art History.
Art History & Film Studies
Advising is NOT REQUIRED prior to registration. Students who would like to meet with an advisor may contact the Department of Art History and the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema.
Art History & Studio Art
Advising is NOT REQUIRED prior to registration. For further information, please contact the Department of Studio Arts and the Department of Art History.
Returning students are NOT REQUIRED to obtain advising prior to registration. Students wishing to arrange an appointment may contact Silvy Panet Raymond by email at silvy.panet-raymond@concordia.ca.

Art History & Film Studies students are NOT REQUIRED to meet with an advisor to select their courses prior to registration.

Film Production
Film Production students are NOT REQUIRED to meet with an advisor prior to registration. Students should register as soon as possible for film production courses for which they have the prerequisites, as class sizes are restricted and places will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
It is recommended that students in the Major in Film Production take no more than twelve credits of ancillary courses in Film Production, and that students in the Specialization in Film Production take no more than twenty-seven credits of ancillary courses in Film Production (See Undergraduate Calendar), during the course of their degree programs. The School of Cinema reserves the right to deregister students from courses in excess of that limit.
