Exchange Information and Candid Conversations
Our Student Academic Services advisor Perla Muyal and recruiter Heather Gagnon have been holding a weekly webinar to discuss all questions related to COVID-19's impact on student life since the pandemic began in March.
During the fall semester, candid convos will be held on Thursdays, alternating weekly at 3:15 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. (EST). All sessions will provide you with general information and Christine Archer from Concordia International will be joining us to talk about student exchange programs.

Now that you have been accepted, here are the next steps.
Step 1 - Accept your offer of admission
Admission to Fine Arts programs is highly competitive. You must be sure to officially accept your offer of admission and pay the confirmation deposit by the date indicated in your letter of admission.
To accept your offer of admission
- Log into your MyConcordia Portal
- Click on My Student Centre
- Go to the Admissions menu and click on accept my offer of admission.
- Go to the Make a Payment function and pay the Admissions Confirmation Deposit.
Once you have paid the deposit, the computer system will run a batch process within the next 24 hours at which time you will be ready to enroll.
Step 2 - Register for courses
Registration for new students begins April 18, 2020.
- Students admitted prior to this date must wait for that date to begin registering for courses.
- Students admitted after this date may begin registering for courses immediately.
Given the high demand for fine arts courses, we recommend you begin enrolling for courses as soon as possible. The registration cycle continues until September so changes to your course registration can be made up until the end of the course change period in early September.
To register for courses
- Log into your MyConcordia Portal
- Click on MyStudent Centre
- Click on Enroll in the Academics menu to begin choosing courses.

Step 3 - Meet with an academic advisor
Advising procedures vary depending on the program to which you have been admitted. Verify if your program requires advising. There you will also find a list of Recommended First Year courses for your program.
