In/Visible City Project

An artist talk by Dijana Milosevic,
Founder and Director of DAH Theatre Research Centre

Dijana Milošević, founder and director of the DAH Theatre Research Centre in Belgrade, will be giving a public artist talk about her internationally renowned activist site-based theatre project In/ Visible City. In addition to creating socially and politically engaged theatre projects that share the histories of marginal urban ethnic groups, Milošević has worked with the activist Belgrade-based gourp ‘Women in Black,’ on issues of violence against woment and performing stories of women from Kosovo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia.

This event is free, and wheelchair accessible.

Organized and moderated by Dr. Shauna Janssen, Department of Theatre, Concordia University, and presented with the kind support of the Department of Theatre, The Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Society and Culture, and the Simone de Beauvoir Institute, Concordia University.
