Laura O’Brien


Laura O’Brien is a first-year PhD student at McGill University’s School of Architecture. Her research focuses on reading architecture and the built environment through feminist material culture. Her broader research interests include feminist human geography, feminist spatial theory, 19th-century urbanism, and graffiti and street art. While completing her MA in Art History at Concordia, Laura was a co-director of the student-run research group Architecture Concordia, and acted as the editor-in-chief of the group’s 2016 publication, AC2.
