Digital fabrication shop
The Core Technical Centre's digital fabrication shop supports Laser cutting and etching, 3D printing (SLA and FDM) and 3D scanning. Whether starting from a digital file to make an object, or from an object that you need to make digital, our technical staff can help you.
The EV Digital Fabrication Shop is closed during our Summer 2022 Renovations. There are some limited facilities setup at the VA to support Graduate Students and Researchers during the closure. Please follow the contact information below to book a consultation.
We're ready to assist
The Core Technical Centre’s staff will be available to assist all Fine Arts students, faculty and researchers in at-home art production.
During a campus closure, our technical staff will continue to be available for consultations and will do their best to help support at-home art production.
Please visit our Moodle page to find out more information about any processes and the resources within the Core Technical Centre.
Public accessibility
Please note that the Core Technical Centre is not open to the public. Only Fine Arts students, faculty and researchers may use the digital fabrication shop facilities.
As such and until further notice, the digital fabrication shop is accessible by appointment only. Appointments may be booked directly with the technical staff during a consultation, by phone or email, but never in person.
