Core technical centre

The Core Technical Centre (CTC) houses facilities and technical expertise for woodworking, metal work, digital fabrication and much more. The CTC is currently open to all Faculty of Fine Arts students and faculty working on curriculum or research projects.

We're here to help you

At the Core Technical Centre (CTC), our technical staff are available to assist you either in person or virtually. Please remember that all in-person access is by appointment only and will be booked by a technician during a consultation.

Want to know more about the CTC's shops and programs?

Come see what's available

Every Tuesday at 1pm, we'll give a guided shop tour. This is a chance for students to meet Core Technical Centre technicians and visit both the EV8 and temporary shop spaces.

Meet at the interior entrance of the FOFA Gallery (1515 Rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest EV 1-715) near the large marble island.
