The whole university is involved in a ten-year space plan. Fine Arts needs your help to look into our future. The Fieldwork project will assemble a paid team of twelve student “micro-consultants” who will act as rovers gathering data from across the Faculty. Rovers will be assigned specific spatial problematics—questions about how we live within and outside our footprint at the university—in order to bring back field notes and field reports to share. But there’s a twist! Field reports can follow creative formats to translate their data: zines, photo essays, audiovisual documentaries, blogs, reenactments, compositions and choreographies and more are all accepted! Field research into artistic form—that’s what we’re interested in. If you think you have what it takes, attend one of our info sessions and apply. Selected students will be compensated for their work on the team.
