Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) has approved new retention rules for the University. This new update contains rules regarding the research activities (research chairs and research project registry), the awards and prices, the employee medical files, pension documents (attestations of termination for Reasons Other than Death), union activities as well as the elections and the art galleries collections.

We invite you to look at the Records Classification and Retention Plan (RCRP, on Cspace) which includes all the retention rules approved to this day and is the official guide to filing records. If you need more information, do not hesitate to contact Records Officers Rachel Marion and Nathalie Parant.

You may also find that the Procedures and Guidelines are useful to you. If you need more information regarding these procedures, you can register to our Training Sessions or contact Eric Côté, Records Management Assistant.
