Standing Committee Update – December 13, 2018

December meetings were spent on updating Concordia’s sexual violence policy in accordance with Bill 151 and the recommendations from the university’s Task Force on Sexual Misconduct and Sexual Violence. The updated policy was approved by Concordia’s Board of Governors on December 12 thus allowing the committee to meet the government deadline.

Community conversations took place on December 5 at Sir George Williams campus and on December 10 at  Loyola.

A presentation on the updated policy was made to the Recreation and Athletics coaching staff on December 13.
