Sherry Blok Fun fact:Chelsea is an accomplished mixologist—the go-to, perfect-cocktail person for special occasions with family and friends. Cheers to Chelsea!

Given the number of countries represented here, CCE is a little like the United Nations. That would make Chelsea Bonneau an Ambassador, and a great one at that. As Service Assistant for the past two and a half years, Chelsea is responsible, among many other vital tasks, for the administration of the highly popular French Conversation Program, overseeing the registration of up to 900 students every term. Many CCE students are just arriving in Montreal from abroad and Chelsea is the first direct contact they have with Concordia. It’s a responsibility she takes seriously, ensuring their needs are met both personally and academically.

As a child, Chelsea attended an international elementary school and her family often hosted foreign exchange students, two experiences that helped foster her love of education, with its never-ending discoveries, challenges and opportunities for growth. No wonder she fits in so well at CCE. Prior to her current position, Chelsea earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and worked in media at one of Montreal’s leading ad agencies. But it’s here at CCE that she feels most at home. “Education has the power to improve every aspect of person’s life and I love being part of that process. Many of the students I’ve worked with in the past still drop by to say hello and tell me about their new lives.”

Being a Service Assistant is all about problem solving. It’s a position that keeps you on your toes. And Chelsea couldn’t be happier. Like many of the people at CCE, she stays in great shape. She loves walking on the mountain to clear her mind and always gets her 10,000 steps in. If she’s learned one thing on her countless walks, it’s that all roads lead to CCE and from here, you can go anywhere you want.
