Through Innovapptive, the Texas company he co-founded, Concordia graduate Hari Kamineni has advanced an innovative suite of supply chain and enterprise asset management applications, used by some of the world's largest multinationals.

The company’s flagship product — the Connected Worker Platform — optimizes connectivity and collaboration between front-line industrial workers with information technology systems, management and back office to minimize plant outages, maximize asset life, improve operational performance, fuel data accuracy and boost revenues.

Prior to Innovapptive, Kamineni was a senior management consultant for IBM. His expertise with enterprise resource planning software also led him to deliver technology solutions for a range of past clients such as the government of Canada, AT&T, Verizon, Colgate-Palmolive and the Coca-Cola Company.

Proudest moment

“Working with UNICEF, where we digitally transformed their global supply-chain operations. Back in 2016, when there was a hurricane in Haiti, UNICEF was empowered with our digital solutions to significantly accelerate delivery of critical supplies to children in the region.”

Career milestones

“Starting and building a company, growing a team full of amazing talent and achieving U.S. patent approval for the innovations I’ve spearheaded.”

Career challenge

“Running and growing the company through the COVID-19 pandemic, the largest global health and economic crisis of our time. We had to downsize and lose great talent and team members, while sustaining and continuing our momentum.”

On professional awards

“The awards Innovapptive has received have landed us on the pedestal next to such industry leaders as IBM and Intel. This validates our ability to deliver value to our customers and gives them confidence.”

The Concordia factor

“Concordia exposed me to interacting and learning with and from people from across the globe. It was exciting to meet different people, understand their cultures and ways of thinking — that gave me great knowledge and experience. To achieve success, I have used the problem-solving skills and creativity I learned at Concordia, throughout my career.”

Career advice

“The world is ever-changing and evolving, especially in the technology and business environment. Keep learning, self-educating and growing.”
