An automotive sector leader, a top investment advisor to Tony Robbins, a 40-year Concordia veteran, and an equity, diversity and inclusion advocate are among the 2022 recipients of Alumni Recognition Awards — an annual celebration of Concordians.

Recipients will be formally recognized at the 30th annual Alumni Recognition Awards — on June 13 at the Windsor Ballrooms in Montreal.

Sponsored by the Concordia University Alumni Association, these will be the first in-person awards celebration since the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020.

As part of festivities, the 2020 Alumni Recognition Award recipients, who were previously honoured via an online celebration, will be fêted and recognized at the ceremony.

Concordia’s own Sean Henry, BA 01, host of CBC Montreal’s Daybreak, will emcee the event.

Each year, the university calls on our community to nominate students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of Concordia who make an impact in their field and community.

Our 2022 honorees are:

Concordia's Environmental Health & Safety team — front row, left to right: Lorena Boju, Wael Badawy, Pietro Gasparrini, Lina Filacchione, Catherine Levesque, Rosa Gullo. Back row: Yoann Chabre, Gurnam Manku, Frederic Guilhem Ducleon, Adam Perelson, Abel Costa, Christopher Jarvo, Karrwright Lee, Linda Pezzi, Christina St. Louis-Tulli. Missing: Monique St-Laurent (recently retired).
