Dear members of the Concordia community,

I write to let you know that Christophe Guy is no longer vice-president of research and graduate studies (VPRGS).

I want to take this opportunity to thank Christophe for his work as VPRGS in the last few years, and also to wish him the best of success as he resumes his career as a researcher. Christophe will be moving to the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science where, as a professor, he will bring considerable expertise to the new Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering.

While we proceed with a search for a new vice-president, Paula Wood-Adams, dean of Graduate Studies, has agreed to serve as interim VPRGS, and Effrosyni (Faye) Diamantoudi, currently associate dean of Recruitment and Awards with the School of Graduate Studies, will become the interim dean of the School of Graduate Studies. I thank Paula and Faye for stepping into these important roles.

Graham Carr
President and Vice-Chancellor
