No classes or other instructional activities will occur during the Easter break, which includes Friday, April 19, and Monday, April 22. Buildings will remain open over the weekend and access will be granted with a valid Concordia ID.

On those two days, building access on Sir George Williams Campus will be restricted to the Bishop St. entrance for the Hall Building (H), the Mackay St. entrance for the J.W. McConnell Building (LB), the Ste. Catherine St. entrance for the Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integrated Complex (EV) and the De Maisonneuve St. entrance for the John Molson Building (MB).

On Loyola Campus, building access on April 19 and 22 will be granted via the Richard J. Renaud Science Complex (SP). The PERFORM Centre's conditioning floor will also be closed from Friday, April 19 to Sunday, April 21, and open on Monday, April 22, 2019.

Are you planning on working on campus over the long weekend?

Be aware that only staff, faculty and graduate students with appropriate Concordia-issued identification will have access to offices, studios and laboratories on April 19 and 22.

Undergraduate students who need access will require a letter from their department.

If you do decide to work on campus outside normal hours of operation, please remember that while university buildings are monitored and access will be restricted, Concordia’s Security Team cannot be everywhere at all times.

We encourage you to remain alert and mindful of your surroundings.

If see something odd or suspicious or see someone behaving strangely in your building or near your office, please call Security immediately at 514-848-3717 or ext. 3717.

And remember, if you face an emergency situation, including a medical one, please call Security at 514-848-3717 or ext. 3717 and dial “1” for immediate assistance.

If you’re working outside the normal hours of operation, we encourage you to become familiar with Concordia’s policy. Only staff, faculty and graduate students with appropriate Concordia-issued identification will have access to offices, studios and laboratories.
