Phishing emails target Concordia community

Please be aware that the IITS Service Desk has received several reports of authentic looking phishing scams circulating amongst the Concordia community.

Affected individuals report receiving emails requesting the purchase of services, products, gift cards and goods from Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook and other providers with email addresses that are very similar to those of existing Concordia faculty and staff. 

If you receive an email of this nature, please be vigilant. Before making any payments, please contact the individual or company by phone to ensure the accuracy of the message you received.

To report a fraudulent email, please file a complaint with the appropriate email service provider.
