On May 1, Hospitality Concordia hosted its fifth annual MS Fundraiser Fiesta, an event that raises money for research on multiple sclerosis (MS), a condition that affects an estimated 100,000 Canadians.

The opportunity to party for a good cause is not one that Concordians tend to pass up, and more than 100 faculty and staff members came out in support of the effort.

Events like this one are open to students, but have a special focus on university employees. The day raised $636.85 for MS research, bringing the total amount the initiative has generated to $12,416.45.

The day was definitely a great success. But if you missed out, don’t worry — you can still donate.
