Concordia alumni Richard Reed Parry (BFA 03) and RĂ©gine Chassagne (BA 98) were awarded prizes at the 2014 Juno ceremony on March 30. The Junos recognize technical and artistic accomplishment in the Canadian music industry.

Parry and Chassagne's band Arcade Fire took home two accolades: Album of the Year and Best Alternative Album of the Year for their most recent album Reflektor.

Arcade Fire has won eight Junos; they first won for Songwriter of the Year in 2006. They have also received two Grammy Awards (2011 and 2012) and two Brit Awards (2011).
