1. Shared Services

The Shared Services team is your first point of contact at HR. Its job is to answer whatever HR-related questions you may have. When it can’t, it will direct you to someone who can.

2. Employment and Organizational Effectiveness

The Employment and Organizational Effectiveness team tackles everything from recruitment to professional development.

If you’re looking for support in crafting the perfect job posting or wondering how to organize your team to make sure everyone’s skills are being used effectively, contact this group at 514-848-2424, ext. 3666, or hr-reception@concordia.ca.

3. Pension Services

The Pension Services team is your go-to group for pension-related questions.

Whether your retirement is 30 years or 30 days away, it’s never too early to think about your pension. This team can answer any queries you might have.

4. Employee and Labour Relations

The Employee and Labour Relations team knows the ins and outs of contracts and collective agreements.

The team’s members can help managers with almost any difficult situation they encounter with an employee.

Whether you’re a manager with questions about how best to support your employees or an employee with a question about a labour agreement, you can contact the Employee and Labour Relations team at 514-848-2424, ext. 3662, or labour@concordia.ca.

5. Compensation

The Compensation team ensures that Concordia offers competitive salaries.

If you’re a non-academic manager whose team includes a position that needs to be reviewed before it is filled, you will want to get in touch with this group.

6. Benefits

The Benefits team handles all medically related absences for staff and faculty at Concordia.

In addition to managing the Disability Management program, the team is responsible for the oversight of the university’s group insurance plans.

The HR team’s job is to make it as easy as possible for faculty and staff to get the information they need about working at Concordia. The entire team strives to provide a positive HR experience and to help employees, managers and faculty in any way it can.
