Students, staff and faculty are invited to celebrate Concordia’s environmental heroes on Thursday, March 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Every year, the Sustainability Champions Gala recognizes the contributions of our fellow Concordians to the university’s social, ecological and economic well-being.

The fourth annual Sustainability Champions Award Gala is being hosted by the Sustainability Hub. It was created to demonstrate Concordia’s collective gratitude to its ambassadors of change.

The awards aim to acknowledge individuals who are involved in sustainability endeavours at Concordia, to encourage dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders, and to raise the overall profile of sustainability on campus.

On March 13, Graham Carr, the university’s vice-president of Research and Graduate Studies, will be on hand to welcome attendees and award recipients.

Come join us for an exciting evening on Thursday, March 13! The Sustainability Champions Gala is an opportunity to connect with other like-minded “green thinkers” while sipping on free beverages and eating hors-d’oeuvres.

The event takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Loyola Chapel (7141 Sherbrooke St. W.) on the Loyola Campus. Please RSVP at sustainabilitychampions@concordia.ca.
