A salute to graduating student athletes
It was a gathering to celebrate sports, teamwork and education.
Concordia University’s Department of Recreation and Athletics, in collaboration with the Concordia University Alumni Association, invited graduating Stingers varsity athletes to a celebratory luncheon on April 9.
The event provided an opportunity to honour the student athletes’ contributions to the university and bid them farewell as they head to the next stages of their lives.
Alumnus and former Stinger Jean-Michel Paquette, BAdmin 04, currently a program coordinator at Concordia’s Institute for Co-operative Education, spoke to the student athletes about his experience as a Stinger and how it helped him in his career.
