Interested golf beginners who wouldn’t know a dimple from a hole in the ground can grab their plaid socks and head over to the Stinger Dome (7200 Sherbrooke St. W.) for golf lessons.

Until the end of April, members of the Concordia golf team will be offering one-on-one lessons to anyone interested in learning how to hit the links right this sunny season.

Lessons will be 30 minutes long followed by 25 minutes of practice time.

No clubs? No worries. Dome staff provide both right- and left-handed clubs for use, free of cost.

A lesson is $35 for the first session, $30 each for subsequent sessions. There is also a 10 per cent discount for Concordia students, staff and faculty, as well for groups of two or more.

Lesson times:
Wednesday, April 13, each half hour from 7 to 9 p.m.
Sunday, April 17, each half hour from 8 to 11 a.m.
Wednesday, April 20, each half hour from 7 to 9 p.m.
Sunday, April 24, each half hour from 8 to 11 a.m.

For those looking to practise, the Stinger Dome driving range is still available for use until the dome closes on April 24.

To reserve a lesson, call Campus Recreation Coordinator Alberto Moreira at 514-848-2424, ext. 8860, or email stingerdome@concordia.ca.
