Matralab and Hexagram-Concordia invite poets, musicians, performers, writers and media artists to participate in an arts vigil/performance for Japan.

The two Concordia arts research centres have partnered with the Society for Arts and Technology to present a seven-hour event that will serve to bring people together to reflect on the situation in Japan and show solidarity with those directly affected by recent events.

Those who wish to volunteer their creativity for the vigil are asked to suggest a five- to 10-minute contribution that considers the long-term impact of the natural and technological events in Japan.

When: April 1, 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Where: Society for Arts and Technology (1201 St-Laurent Blvd.)

Submit proposals as soon as possible to: japan.vigil@gmail.com
