First Nations students from across the country are invited to exchange information on issues that help or hinder their access to post-secondary education.

The online virtual summit convened by the Assembly of First Nations (AFN) and hosted at Vancouver Island University will allow students to share information and resources while identifying gaps and making recommendations to increase First Nations post-secondary education graduation rates.

Students will learn about programs, incentives, and funding opportunities across the province and learn from each other. Assembly of First Nations National Chief Shawn A-in-chut Atleo, Chancellor of Vancouver Island University, will also participate in the conversation.

Those wishing to participate can go online on Thursday, January 27. The virtual summit begins at 1 p.m. Eastern time.
