Pierre-Yann Dolbec, assistant professor in the Department of Marketing, analyzes what’s at stake in UBER’s battle to do business in the province of Quebec. The general manager of UBER in Quebec says his organization will cease its activities in the province on October 14 unless the government backs down on the news conditions it wants to impose on the ride-sharing operation.
