Two more Nazi-looted paintings recovered

The Times of IsraelThe Art Newspaper, The LocalArt Daily and Expatica report the recent recovery of two Dutch Old Masters paintings —  'Ships in Distress on a Stormy Sea', by Jan Porcellis, and 'Landscape With Goats', by Willem Buytewech the Younger — which had been looted by the Nazis during the Second World War. The article references the Max Stern Art Restitution Project, headed by Concordia under the leadership of Clarence Epstein, senior director of Urban and Cultural Affairs. Epstein is quoted.
